Mk II Soldiers Shoring

MkII Soldiers

The versatile MKII Soldier and DU-AL® Aluminium Beam combine to make a wide-ranging system of primary and secondary beam support. The MKII Soldier and DU-AL® Aluminium Beam combinations have a full range of accessories to clamp the components quickly and safely.

MKII Soldiers
The strongest primary beam is the MKII Soldier, with SWL bending 38 kNm, making it ideal for falsework table use. Using MKII Soldiers, very large flying and rolling tables can be created without the need for splicing, as all the MKII Soldiers can be joined end to end.

DU-AL® Aluminium T225 Beam
The lighter aluminium T225 DU-AL® Aluminium Beam, with SWL bending 29 kNm, can be used when loading is less onerous and falsework structures require stripping and re-erecting.

Secondary beams
The secondary beams are the single-web S150 DU-AL® Aluminium Beam, with SWL bending 6.8 kNm, and the stronger twin-web T150 DU-AL® Aluminium Beam, with SWL bending 13 kNm. Both DU-AL® Aluminium Beam secondary beams are supplied with a timber insert for suitable nailing of plywood.

Timber walings can also be clamped safely to MKII Soldiers, giving further choice in the selection of secondary beams to suit site conditions.
