Roofing and shelters

Our temporary roofing and shelter systems have been designed for use in combination with our fixed scaffolding systems to enable us to provide full weather protection throughout the duration of a project. Sections can be craned into position or assembled in-situ and rolled into position. Individual units can be dismantled or removed to provide temporary access.

Our roofing and shelters equipment consists of an aluminium beam system which is designed for temporary roof structures and as a structural beam for scaffolding applications. This is designed to be built faster and more safely than many existing roofing systems.

It is a unique shape, lightweight, fully modular, fast and simple to construct and has the strength to span to 40m. All the components can be manually handled safely by up to two people.

The beams are ideal as stiffening and bracing elements within general scaffolding structures. The highly efficient design in a consistent module gives a clean and uncluttered appearance within a structure with optimised material and performance.

Applications
  • Temporary roofs and shelters
  • Mobile roofs
  • Temporary buildings
  • Portal frames
  • Weather protection structures
Benefits
  • Lightweight aluminium beams
  • Fully modular roofing system
  • Economical span of 40m or more
  • Range of beam sizes up to 7.2m
  • Easy to handle depth of either 610 or 750mm
  • Flexible PVC sheeting firmly secured in Keder tracking
  • Ridge beam allows tailored roof profile and reduced scaffold mass
  • Mono or duo-pitch roof configurations
  • Hand-build or crane-build options
  • Attractive, clean and consistent design
  • Design and erection by competent and experienced personnel
Flexibility
The system can allow the use of mobile sections and for the removal of key sections to permit the craneage of plant and machinery whilst under cover.

Protective covering

The roof covering comprises flexible translucent reinforced PVC sheeting firmly secured within the well proven Keder tracking system.  This simple pull-through sheeting system can be used on side walls and either under or over roofing components; it gives a light and weather resistant working area.
