Harsco Infrastructure in the UK has adopted Cancer Research UK as its chosen charity.

 

As individuals and as a company, we are all aware that there are many people, including family, friends and colleagues,  who encounter serious health problems at some point in their lives. One in three people is affected by cancer.  Our support is vital at these times.

 

At Harsco Infrastructure in the UK we would like to give everyone the opportunity to go a step further. Harsco Infrastructure has decided to adopt Cancer Research UK as its charity, so that we can channel most of our efforts and fund-raising support to this very worthy cause.

 

Cancer Research UK (CRUK) is dedicated to improving the lives of people with cancer.  They fund the work of scientists, doctors and nurses, universities and research centres all over the UK. Their world-class research aims to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer, and ensure that the findings are used for everyone’s benefit.  Their work is funded almost entirely by the general public and their vision is that together, we will beat cancer.

 

There are many ways in which we can raise money for CRUK. To show our commitment, Harsco Infrastructure in the UK will support employee initiatives, from dress down days and quiz nights to race sponsorships and other fund-raising events with the proceeds going to Cancer Research UK.
