Environmental
In respect to the activities it can control or expect to have reasonable influence
over, Harsco Infrastructure recognises its responsibility for protecting the environment
and this policy is a statement of that commitment.
Harsco Infrastructure is also committed to the prevention of pollution and to
complying with the applicable environmental legal and regulatory requirements
and other requirements to which it subscribes, where they relate to its environmental
aspects.
Harsco Infrastructure is accredited with the ISO 14 0001 standard which demonstrates
our compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
Recycling
As part of our Environmental Management System we have a segregated waste policy and although we are a low impact business, we are currently addressing ways to recycle a higher percentage of branch operation waste.

Carbon Footprint
Having achieved ISO14001 in early 2006, the next stage allied with our business
environmental objectives is to gather the data required to determine our carbon
footprint. Data is already being gathered and it is our intention, that by the
end of 2010, the carbon footprints for both our Harsco Infrastructure UK and Harsco
Global businesses will have been calculated.
Sustainability
All the products we use in our day to day business have an extended life cycle, with the exception of timber products which are used for scaffold boards.
